As part of activities for public in Insurance Day 2014, Insurance Council of Indonesia (DAI) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) organize Job Fairs in this October in some big cities of Indonesia. This event is aimed to introduce and offer working opportunities in the insurance sector.

Aswata invited more than 100 partners of insurance brokers to an exclusive movie screening at the Blitz Megaplex cinema in Grand Indonesia Jakarta on Wednesday evening, October 22nd.
“This exclusive event is part of our company’s 50th anniversary activities that also an appreciation event for our broker partners. We hope with casual and entertaining occasions like this one, we could keep and even strengthen our good business relationship for times ahead,” said Christian Wanandi President Director of PT Asuransi Wahana Tata.
The movie shown was titled Tabula Rasa, an Indonesian movie about Hans, a young man from Serui, Papua, who has a dream of becoming a professional football player. Yet fate has a different agenda, when Hans almost loses his will to live he meets Mak, owner of a humble Minangnese restaurant (lapau). In the midst of their differences, Hans and Mak find their similarities. Dreams and the passion for living are once more ignited in Hans through food and cooking—food is the goodwill that unites them.
It is a unique all ages movie that exhibits a perfect mixtures of two local cultures of West Sumatera and Papua through culinary, symbolized Indonesia’s unity in diversity.
Also present in this movie screening event were the movie producer Sheila Timothy and the main actor Jimmy Kobagau.
